Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I had the most terrible dinner at Tony's last week. We had two dinners entrees that and both were bad. That is meat, pasta, sauce, salad. Only order pizza at this place...dinner is a real bummer. Hire someone who can cook Tony.

The deluxe masterpiece was AMAZING. Full of flavor and they baste the crust with some delicious garlic oil. I'm not a supreme lover at all, but this pizza was fantastic! Try it out if you're in the area.

The pizza and calzones were fantastic. We got NY style half pepperoni and half deluxe, and two calzones (meat lovers and chicken Parmesan). Everything was amazing. Would even consider returning before we leave in a few days! Staff were very friendly, the owner too.

First time visiting and it wasn't the best but not the worst. Food came out quick for the most part. The house salad came with ranch in a peel back container. Which was weird I thought. The Greek salad did not have some of the stuff that was on the menu, wasn't bad but not great. Got the shrimp scampi and it was just sitting in a puddle of butter and the shrimp was swimming in a pool of butter. Needed garnish on it very plain. Maybe a Cajun flavor or something. Maybe will be back.

Simply awesome ... Great booths with DTV w/ sports packs to watch while you enjoy authentic Buffalo Style wings, delicious brick wood oven pizza & very cold Beer! Italian style foods located inside Publix plaza off 14th street. The staff are fun and energetic, offering weekly specials while hosting event nights. Tonys is very casual - come as you are- beach type haunt. And the food is top quality. On our first visit my hubby has small pepperoni pizza & wings claiming that they were the best wings he ever had in the south - he grew up down street from the original Anchor Bar - creator of Buffalo Wings, so he knows his wings. I had the Italian salad. The dressing isn't homemade which is the only negative for the meal. The very next night, I had yet to unpack the kitchen after relocating to the island, ( a pattern I dragged out as long as I could! ) and back to Tonys we headed. This visit we shared 20 wings while he ordered pizza again. I sampled the Italian sausage sub style sandwich. It was incredible, and half was even better the next day! The bread is very soft, the sauce has a perfect Italian flavor, and the sausage was cooked to perfection. I'm sure this will become a regular at our house - and THEY DELIVER! Enjoy!!

stoped in late last night my server was very attentive and chatty that spoke well for them. Their pizza rolls are awesome the garlic butter and parmesan cheese on them were fantastic. Now for the bad my pizza I ordered a spicy carribean chicken add bacon the crust was nice and crispy but the middle was a soggy mess. Also I think they gave me the bbq chicken pizza as it didnt taste like a garlic spicy base tasted like bbq sauce. My wifes 14 dollar chicken alfredo tasted just like craft mac n cheese with chicken. I am deff gonna have to agree with a few previous yelpers that pizza is a little weak and entrees the same.

After traveling for what seemed like forever (maybe that's me since I hate to fly) we got checked into our hotel and found that Tony's was very close so we decided to give it a shot for a late lunch. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet. We were seated right away and we ordered some garlic cheesy bread to satisfy our hunger. Much to my husband's delight, they had Yuengling on tap for $2 so he grabbed one right away while I stuck with water. We decided to keep our lunch light and grabbed just a small cheese pizza. The bread came out first and it was perfectly cheesy which just the right amount of garlic. Our pizza came out shortly after and it just the right amount of cheese on it. We thought the crust was great but maybe a little thin for his liking. We ended up eating all of our pizza and the bread so it was a major carbo-load but I guess skipping lunch will cause you to do that. If you are on the island, check it out. I don't remember seeing it in any of our guides so maybe it's a hidden treasure but if really hit the spot that day.

Tony's has a very friendly staff, and their food is also very good. I highly recommend trying their Pizza Rolls, which are extremely delicious, and are basically bite sized Pepperoni Pizzas. Give these guys a try...

Order a margarita pizza did not look like a Mar-pizza or taste like one! All you could taste was the garlic. Would not order another!

Pros: Great pizza and garlic knots. They gave us sodas to go when we left. $2 beers. The cheese was that really tasty cheese with that cooked taste I stead of stringy. Also, they gave us pizza sauces to dip our pizzas and knots which were $.50 cents. Wait staff was super nice. Each table has a TV with a remote so you can watch sports games or your favorite show. Each booth is very private and has a divider. Cons: Not much. I guess I would say Styrofoam plates were a little odd considering the pizza place is a little nicer than most. They could improve that by getting rid of Styrofoam. Also, the tables were a little small for the pizza tray. It really was a good experience. If you are craving pizza I highly recommend it.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Went to this place for the first time two nights ago for an early dinner. Parents ordered wings, fries and a Greek pizza. All in which looked great!! My husband and I ordered a calzone to split. It was full of meats and perfect! We also got a basket of tasty fries! Service was great and no complaints. We will return! People were constantly coming in to pick up their take out order so I'd assume they were busy because of great food!

We love the pizza here. We eat here every time we are on the island. Would recommend the White Pizza and the Garlic Knots. We have had delivery horror stories from Tony's so I can't give 5 stars. Now we just call ahead and pick up the pizza. The service is always great.

Good pizza, great drafts, free WIFI. Love the strombolis!

What can I say. She asked to take a long bike ride and then enjoy a good pizza & cold beer for her Mother's Day outing. We headed to Fernandina Beach hoping the coastal breezes would give us some relief from the smoke we're putting up from Oke's Honey Prairie Fire. We had a great ride and the drove over to Tony's. We ordered a $11 pitcher of Stella and a thick crust, pepperoni, green olive, and veggie pizza. Both hit the spot and we had plenty of pizza for tomorrow's lunch. My wife was in heaven and one happy Mom.

Over priced and ok food. My daughter had pizza which she said was good. I had a stromboli that was ok. Had better for sure. Having TV's at each seating area could be considered neat I guess...especially if you have kids. For the price, you would expect better.

Tony's has great service, the portion sizes are huge! We had a party of four and everyone was pleasantly surprised with the service, the food tasted great and they were not overpriced. Better than a chain pizza place any day.

I picked this place based off of yelp reviews. It's a step above grocery-frozen pizza and costs 4x as much. Not good, only edible. It's very greasy w no outstanding flavor. The garlic knots are so greasy the oil soaked through the bag and completely saturated it.

My husband and I are addicted to their cheese pizza! It is what pizza should be - they do not skimp on the cheese and the sauce is tasty, but not over powering. Crust is perfection. We have not eaten in the restaurant yet, we usually get out pizza to go.

My dad's favorite pizza place on the island. I love their pizza! They have televisions in every booth so you can watch what you want.

I don't know why I ever thought a pizza place without bacon would be a good idea, but that was my first mistake. My second was giving them the benefit of the doubt and ordering it more than once. The most recent time was definitely the last. After taking an hour and a half to arrive (despite being only 2.2 miles from my house) we called to complain. They said they didn't have a driver. Well, they should have told us that when we called because we would have gone to get it. Instead they said it would arrive in 20 minutes. But what actually happened was they cooked the pizza and left it under the heating lamps for 65 minutes which sucked the lifeblood and deliciousness completely out of it. Pizza was like cardboard and forget being able to reheat leftovers. It was never really good pizza to begin with... Lesson learned. There's plenty of great food on this island but none of it's being made at Tonys.

I was excited to support local business and this place came recommended by the hotel staff here. The staff on the phone for ordering was super kind and helpful. I ordered my pizza and was told 45-60 minute wait. So, I started some work...and then they came fast. very nice! The pizza, well, not so great. The portions of toppings were generous and made the pizza look great in the box. However, not much cheese (though tasty) and the middle of the pizza was totally soggy. Crust was super crisp, and then gradually more soggy until the middle was just wet gross under the toppings. Disappointed, for sure.

Nice little pizza joint right next to a Publix. I ended up opting for this location upon getting into town late for the GA/FL weekend. Ordered my pizza, bought a few necessities over at Publix, then picked it up on the way out. The pizza itself was very good. The crust was well prepared and cooked. The sauce was solid. I would definitely revisit this restaurant if I end up arriving late again one year and need a bite to eat.

Food was ok. Service was marginal. Their Styrofoam plates started to melt when the hot pizza was put on it.

I really like the pizza here! Its really good, has good sauce, and very cheesy! Its a little expensive, and the delivery can be slow, but its good pizza! I was not impressed by the greek salad - it was a little overpriced and underwhelming.

We were a little worried about this place because of the bad reviews on yelp, but we tried it out anyway. We are glad we did. My wife had the baked spaghetti and I had chicken broccoli alfredo, and they were both awesome. The service was fine, as well.

stopped in for a slice it was good then I got food delivered and it was all terrible which was a bummer because I thought I found a good pizza place this area doesn't have any good food anyway
